Inspiration    Kazimir is a hommage to Kazimir Malevich’s work and based on
classical cycling jerseys, which used to be knitted.

→ I wanted to make a more summer-ish quality, for the summer collections.
Creating a nice blend of dry feeling linen and cotton in combination with some wool.
It’s a wonderful medium warm sweater for summer evenings.

→ I wanted a knitted label to go with a knitted sweater, woven labels tear the knit apart,
it doesn’t move along with the flexibility of the knitted garment.

 

COMPOSITION LABEL
100% unbleached cotton from Bulgaria

→ I wanted a composition label that was easy to remove, because they always annoy
me while wearing a garment. Therefor it’s only stitched with 2 stitches. We draw the sizes on
by hand, to save material for all different sizes available.

 

HANG TAG

→ I wanted a hang tag that could be used after use, not just something you throw
out after purchase, so came up with the idea of a bag where you could put some lavender in.
If placed in the Box with your favorite knitwear, it will keep the moths out.

→ I wanted a box to keep your sweater in after purchase. The box had to be a jewel
itself, not just a case to transport it home and throw away. The shape is inspired by a
chocolate box, the inside is inspired by vintage Oberkampf&Cie wallpaper and contains
all the sweaters of the very first collection. There is also a hidden Waldo…can you find him?

 

BUTTONS
100% Coroza (coconut)
Made in Italy

→ I wanted sustainable buttons, therefore I chose Coroza. We only work with 2 colours
and 3 sizes, not to have to make new buttons each collection and save the environment.
